Baida Heads to National Championships

While attending US Rowing Youth Northwest Regionals, St. Mary's Cici Baida and two other team members from Rogue Junior Rowing qualified to compete at the US Rowing Youth National Championships.  This is a four-day event held in Sarasota, Florida. Junior athletes (19 and under) from across the nation competed for their spots at Youth Nationals. Athletes who qualified for nationals had to place 4th or higher in their events.  Cici is racing in a U17 single; she has been rowing for six years and racing for three years.  She also lettered in rowing this year.

This is her first trip to Nationals. Congratulations Cici!
