Boys Golf Heads Home with Hardware
Upper and underclassmen combo gets the job done at State.
Led by junior Davis Jones shooting rounds of 81-84 and senior Tiger Kao shooting rounds of 81-86 to finish 12th and 15th respectively, the St. Mary's Crusaders showed determination to head home with hardware. The underclassmen stepped up huge to help the team with sophomore Bill Kao shooting rounds of 91-88 to finish 29th followed by freshmen Cooper Anderson shooting 96-93 and Warren Drake shooting rounds of 104-106 to finish 37th and 57th respectively. The team finished in a tie for 4th, seven shots behind 3rd place Banks, 23 shots behind Valley Catholic in 2nd, and 45 shots behind the State Champion Bandon Tigers.
