St. Mary’s School Athletic Department is pleased to announce the appointment of Jared Pulver as the new Head Coach of the Varsity Boys Basketball program. Coach Pulver brings a genuine enthusiasm for the game of basketball and a love for mentoring young people. 

“We have hired the right coach to lead our basketball program,” said Jamie Young, St. Mary’s Athletic Director. “Jared understands what it takes to prepare kids to play at a high level, and we are thrilled to have him at St. Mary’s.”

Jared Pulver is a 1995 graduate of South Medford High School, where he played basketball for Dennis Murphy. After high school, Jared attended Notre Dame. Upon returning to the Rogue Valley, Jared began his coaching career at South Medford HS, where he remained for 16 years.

St. Mary’s made it to the final four at the State Tournament in 2020 and won its most recent Basketball State Championship in 2016.
